A (sometimes) irreverent look at recent PTS activities!
Just a few examples of what we have been up to lately, along with some ‘training’ observations.
Naturally all the views expressed are our own, but we welcome feedback / comment / participation if you see something you’d like to comment on!

New ‘win’ for PTS
PTS recently learned that they had been awarded the UK Licensee rights for PRIZM, an early stage design tool of innovative problem solving.
This is a great coup for us, and to say that we’re excited about it would be an understatement!
Naturally we are going to be promoting it and we’re just putting the finishing touches to the promotional literature now. Watch this space!

Lining up with the best - June 2010
In early June PTS again participated in the Training and Development Summit which took place at Stansted.
Another agreeable two days was had, with much talk by delegates who were attending specifically in order to research the market offerings on topics of interest. We found that our Dragons Den and Champions Programme gained the greatest interest with the 23 companies we spoke to and we look forward to continuing discussions with several interested parties.
What was of note is that there are still budgets around for training, albeit with many delegates indicating that projects were ‘on hold’ until their re-structuring programmes were complete. (It seems that everyone is at least looking to re-focus their business based on expectations of improving their bottom line!)

Golf on the Agenda - May 2010
Golf again became the focus of attention at the PTS Golf Day held at Knebworth in May.
Twelve sturdy souls braved through the humiliating banter and heckling to win what can only be described as the ‘stupendous’ prize on offer at this year’s event.
Naturally we can’t put any pictures here on our website (for blackmail reasons!) but thank you one and all to those who participated in this informal social event; it really is a great way to build relationships.

A taste of the good life - November 2009
PTS held its 8th Beaujolais Nouveau celebration at the Grosvenor Arms in Grosvenor Street, Mayfair. The gathering of the good and the great, customers and business associates, sampled the Beaujolais which was actually palatable this time. We then settled down to the ‘serious’ task of tasting six fine wines,
the motivation being the now infamous PTS prize – this year’s was a novelty watering can!
These events are just so much fun, and it gives us a chance to socialise with all our contacts. Luckily most of them are not teetotal!
